This wall hanging is of a deep purple color, and is hand embroidered on raw silk. The small tapestry contains the classic Hebrew welcoming greeting of "Bruchim Habaim" which means "welcome to those coming." The fish motif symbolizes Rosh Hashana, where we bless the new year to be the head of the fish and not the tail. The wall hanging is typically hung in the entryway or on doors, where people entering may look at it. The wall hanging comes with a brass rod at the top and weighted fringes at the bottom, ensuring that it will be kept straight.
This wall hanging is a fine present for the holidays of Rosh Hashana and Sukkot, but at the same time makes for a wonderful housewarming gift.
